Before and After (1-20)

Using a summertime treat; help your littles to understand what comes before and after certain numbers. 1-10 on one page and 11-20 on a separate page for those who further along. Let them have more fun and color the ice cream bars when they are done with the numbers!

Transportation Packet

I have combined a few of the favorites and a coupe of new items to make a Transportation Packet.

Easier to use if you have a Transportation Week in your classroom or homeschool.

All About Me

What better way to get to know the kids this year or for them to get to know each other.

Fill these out and have an “All About Me” board or wall. This can include family photos, self-portraits, photos of the class throughout the year.

Fall Story Cards

These are great tools to get those creative juices flowing in your beginning writers!

Cut out the story cards, have them put the cards in order of what happens first, second, third and last. Your child can either tell you a story of what is happening or older children can write a sentence for each card.

Taking Shape!

Line and shape tracing is a great way to introduce your child to the proper way of holding a writing instrument. This will also strengthen the fine motor skills they will need when they begin to write their letters and numbers.

Studies show that starting with lines and shapes actually increases a child’s ability to understand how to print the letters and numbers being introduced to them.

Line Practice

Line practice is a great way to strengthen fine motor skills and get children ready for writing.

It’s okay if they don’t follow the lines perfectly. Try letting them use something small like a crayon or a golf pencil. They are easier to grip and not as top heavy.

You can print these off in 5×7 or 8×10. Laminate to use dry erase markers or you can slip them into clear pocket protectors so they can use them multiple times.
