Work pages to get your young ones excited for learning this holiday season.
We begin with a Numbers and coloring page, then move to a sheet to learn “big and small”. After that some fun prewriting practice by helping Santa get to the present.
All sheets are in black and white.

Cut out the numbered cards and have your child draw one at a time. As they draw a card; they cover that number on the giant turkey. Use mini erasers, pom-poms, whatever works for your little ones.

I recommend using cardstock when printing because it will hold up to the constant use of clothespins. But regular paper with lamination will work also.

Fill in the missing numbers and trace the numbers that are present.

Trace the numbers 1-10. Color the hats.
Have the kiddos match colors with certain numbers (color the number 3 blue, the number 7 orange, etc).

With these Ten Frames, you can choose the black and white and have the kiddos color them or print them in color. Laminate or slide into a Dry Erase Pocket or pocket protector for longer use.
The kiddos pick a card and then build that number in the Ten Frame. Start with 1-5 for beginners and use 1-10 when they are ready.
This is a great way to introduce addition. Ask them 1+1=?. They can work it out in the Ten Frame.

Count from 1 to 10 using mini erasers or mini pumpkins from the Dollar Tree. As your child counts the pumpkins in the ten frame they put their pumpkins into the truck.

This deals with hour and half hour. Short worksheets to minimize aggravation from learning something new.
Laminate or pop into a dry erase pocket to use again and again.
