This is the first letter of our next series; circles and curves.

I love this book for my October read with grandchildren and the classroom! This small activity pack is just for fun. Color, cut and glue!

Writing their names, I find is a great way to do this. During circle time; I would show the names of each child. When the child recognized their name; they raised their hand and would come up and spell their name on the card. This helped all the kids in the class.

Yes! We are onto our new type of letters. These letters have our straight lines but also a curve with them. For the first few they will be straight lines and curves and we will finish out with just curves. Don’t forget to toss in those uppercase letters from our previous lessons. You can do a different letter each day to add on with the letter “D”. Repetition is important.

This is the last straight line uppercase letter to our series. Next week we begin with straight lines and curves. Things are going to get exciting! So I hope your young ones have been practicing their circles and arcs.
